When I answer a phone call, Talkback continues to give me information "call forwarding is active" , "dark screen disabled." How can I stop this? It also talks louder than my caller.

Hello, I don't have your device to experiment on, but it sounds as though you have turned off the proximity sensor setting.
To check, do the following:
