Showstopper accessibility bug is not getting attention.
I intstalled this to play with my mom over long distance. It has two major usibility issues that wouldn't really get in my way. First, it's extremely naggie because they only make money if you buy bonus rolls and custom dice and so on. Second, it's fraught with unlabeled graphics. Bad design and a show stopper for anyone not using the latest and greatest. Considering that, I was very pleasantly surprised to find setting up and playing a game highly accessible.
Unfortunately, there is a showstopper bug. The standard dice have no help text or labels to let talkback read the values of the dice. I emailed support in April of 2015 and met mixed responses but overall, I was somewhat hopeful that this would be fixed. A couple of days ago I re-installed the app to see if any work had been done and found it the same. Another email to support and response that wasn't really a response at all, and I've decided the company has no real interest in fixing the accessibility of the product. That's a shame as the game is totally playable except for not being able to hear the values of the dice.
They are extremely proud of being the "official" Yahtzee app on the play store, but I think disregarding accessibility is not a good use of the trademarks. I thought about writing to hasbro directly.
