Update: simply amazing!
I opened up a support ticket rather late in the evening so that I could get labels added to the buttons in this app. They responded the very next morning, and nearly two days after initially submitting the ticket, the accessibility issues in this app are nearly completely resolved. One of the first things the support staff did was to send me apk files attached to the e-mails generated by their ticket system so that I could test fixes as they were made. Consequently, I am withholding my votes and ratings on accessibility until the next version is released, which should happen very shortly, once they fix a small regression in some of the previously fixed buttons that are no longer providing content descriptions when they are focused or popup text when they are held. I will say that this app, the service overall and the developers and support staff are quite impressive, especially since I'm only using their free offering and only paid the one-time charge to remove the ads from my account after I submitted the ticket and got a response, but they have treated me as though I'm a customer paying by the month, responding to every support ticket I have submitted, and doing the best they can to resolve them very quickly. This is not just related to accessibility, but also to other rather low-priority bug reports/feature requests I filed as well. I've pretty much made my feelings known overall right here, but upon the release to the Play Store of the new version I've been testing, I should be able to give them an official rating in the Inclusive Android system to reflect the accessibility fixes that have been added in the past 48 hours.
Very responsive support staff, highly recommended
This is the result of working with the developers to make this app more accessible and usable. Every button is clearly labeled, and the latest version works perfectly using both Talkback and Spiel. For anyone looking for a feature-rich replacement to carrier voicemail or the stock visual voicemail app, this is definitely it.
