Probably one of the best
Probably one of the best instant messaging aps on android.
IM+ has a tabbed interface on the phone.
Try doing a 2 finger swipe left or right to switch tabs.
From what i remember it has contacts, chats, and accounts.
IM+ lite and pro review
IM Plus is a messaging app that supports many different platforms. To list a few, MSN/Windows Live, Yahoo, ICQ, Face Book, and many more. I tested it on a Nexus 7 running 4.4.4 and a S5 running 4.4.3. The app works well, however, there are a few unlabeled buttons. By pressing them though, they are very easy to figure out and label. On some devices, the more or menu button that allows one to add contacts and get to the settings does not appear. For example, on the Nexus 7 there is the more button at the top right of the screen, but on the S5, it appears nowhere in the app. No worry though, simply have the app open and hold down the recent apps button and you will find the settings in there as well as all the other options. There are 3 tabs in the app that can be accessed by 2 different ways. Firstly, you can click on the tab name which appears either at the top of the screen or the bottom, depending upon your device. You can also 2 finger swipe from left to right to change tabs. The first tab is your contact tab. This tab has all your contacts listed. There are several ways you can group your contact list. By account, by online/offline and others. The groups can be expanded or collapsed by tapping on the group name to make finding your contacts faster. Once you find the contact you want, simply double tap on it to open a message. The second tab is your inbox. Just like a mail program, this is where your messages come in and are kept. Simply click on the message in the inbox and reply. When in the message window, right above and right below the edit field you will find to unlabeled buttons. The one before the edit field is emoticons. Some of these are labeled, but not many of them. The button after the edit field is the send button. There is also an option in settings to use the enter button as send, but there is a notice that it does not work on all devices. The third tab is your account tab. This is where all of your accounts are listed, as well as where you can add new accounts. You can also log in and out of all accounts with the click of one button. You can also log in and out of particular accounts by clicking on their icons and making your choice there. Free VS Pro version. the free version is add supported. These adds appear in a web view that is not very nice, at least in the versions of Android I tried the app on. Firstly, you can’t read them, and secondly, they make moving around the app very slow and sluggish. Another important reason to upgrade, at least for me, is the fact that the free version will only stay logged in for 1 day. I’ve got a bad memory so the ability to stay logged in for up to 7 days in the pro version makes it very nice. In both versions you have the option to have the app automatically log in when you reboot your device, or you can set it so that you have to log in yourself. The pro version is much snappier to use and responds better to Talk Back. All in all, IM Plus, either pro or free, is a great app and works well.
