Accessibility tradeoffs
I've been using this app for a couple of weeks, and I think it does a better job of rendering large pages than chrome, even though they use the same core engine. I was also excited to see the article reader. Unfortunately, the reader hasn't worked in preliminary testing. Either my articles aren't formatted properly or this thing is picky.
Because lightning is using google's web services, you get full talkback support for browsing elements. Unfortunately, this version of lightning has no keyboard shortcuts for app functions such as showing and hiding the reader, focusing the location bar, or bringing up the tabs list. I could not find a single shortcut by pressing likely key combonations and I was farely comprehensive about it. I emailed to request the feature. Maybe it will show up in a later version. Unfortunately, I do so much internet work on my phone that keyboard support is essential and so I'll be switching back to chrome.

I used the mac version of this about 7 years ago when I had some issues with safari and it was wonderful. I'm quite surprised said app has little to no keyboard interaction, this must change if you do use the keyboard a lot. I don't, but still.
More comments on keyboard support
I think I should add a few more things on the keyboard side of web browsing. If you read my browsing with chrome 2016 tutorial, you probably know that talk back has substantially more keyboard shortcuts for element navigation than it does with jesters. The two key things I am really missing in lightning are: I can't get directly to the address bar by pressing Ctrl L, and I can't do a screen search using Ctrl F. The screen search is absolutely essential for me when browsing large web pages which I do a fairly frequently. Inclusive Android is one of the places where screen search is especially helpful.
