Hello:
I intend to purchase a new Android phone and I don't know how to bring up the apps that have been automatically backed up by Google from my current phone.
So, the question now is: how do I bring up the apps from the cloud, and have them installed on my new device.
Do I have to do anything on my current phone in order to make this possible?
I have the option to backup apps automatically, using my Gmail account enabled on my phone.
I hope my question is very well understood.
Thanking you all in advance for your help.
Regards.

several ways to restore
Answer:
When you first power on the new phone it will ask you to connect to the wifi, then it will ask you to type in your google/gmail credentials. Next it will ask you if you want to restore from a previous device and present several options. One will be from the cloud, another will be using NFC by holding both phones together and authorising transfer on each device. At which time the apps and other items will transfer. see the following link for more details: https://support.google.com/android/answer/2819582?hl=en
