Getting Started With Blindo

Blindo is an app for sharing customized lables created in Talkback with other Talkback users.

When one manually label an unlabeled button or buttons found in an app, one can upload those lables to Blindo, and someone who has the same app but doesn't have the time to manually label those buttons or doesn't know how, can now download the label packs and as a result, making the app fully accessible.

Below is the Developer's description of Blindo, followed by the Play Store URL, from which the app can be downloaded for free:

Getting Started with Soft Braille Keyboard

In this audio demonstration of the "Soft Braille Keyboard," sergio brunetti shows us how to go about calibrating the keyboard and how to do text editing and how to do the various gestures of moving around in Text, including "copying, selecting, moving," etc.

Using the Soft Braille Keyboard wil definitely improve typing on a smartphone for those who know how to use Braille.

Editing Text using "Cursor Control" found in Talkback

This little audio demonstration is aimed at showing you how to go about editing text in an edit field, using the "Cursor Control" that is built into Talkback.

It is possible to do text editing with keyboards that allow text selection, but sometimes those don't work on some phones, and thus, in such circumstances, the built-in editing feature found in Talkback would be the "go to" for such a time.

Unboxing the Oukitel K6000Pro

This is a phone from 2016 that I got last Fall.

This is a Chinese phone running MM6.0 with 32Gigs of storage,
3Gigs of RAM,
600mAh Battery,
5.5 Inches,
running Mediatek.

The core of this is intended to see if Accessibility can be enabled by using the two-finger hold down on first boot.

The phone behave as expected when two fingers are placed on the face of the phone on first boot, thereby, enabling accessibility out of the box.

Take a listen to the audio demonstration.

Unboxing the Alcatel U16Max

This is a little audio demonstrating as to whether or not the Alcatel U16Max has accessibility built in.

Unfortunately, this phone doesn't have Talkback built in, thus, trying to start Accessibility simply brings about the TTS saying that Accessibility is enabled, but because Talkback isn't built in, that announcement doesn't follow the TTS announcement that says "accessibility" has been enabled.
